Macy Gray said openly & publicly what a lot of others have been thinking! Trip of Change Podcast highlighted “gender identity” in their February episodes! As a Boomer, I am baffled by the sensitivity of other genders. Freedom of Speech for queers is the same for binaries!
Gray shared her definition of a woman during an appearance on Piers Morgan’s show “Piers Morgan Uncensored.”
“I would say a human being with boobs,” she explained when asked. “You have to start there – and a vagina.”
She further added: “i wasn’t defining trans women. just women. because i know what it means to be one. i don’t know what it means to be a trans woman and never said i did. but that goes both ways.”
Gray took to Twitter after the interview aired to defend her thoughts as well as support the LGBTQ community.
“there is no bigger admirer of lgbt community than [yours] truly. it takes real balls to be honest about who you are. ‘woman’ is a title that you earn and become. just like ‘man,'” she wrote in a tweet. “there are plenty of females who aren’t women yet and every girl gets that.”

As a Boomer, I just don’t understand the lack of equality in Freedom of special. We all want to be free to be able to express ourselves without all the sensitivity elevated to levels, sometime, beyond comprehension. Macy Gray is a woman! I am woman! We have all the anatomical body parts that makes us a woman; the bearers of the human race.

Boomers are well into the 60s, and a lot of us want to understand the language, the wording, the titles and the proper greetings, that generations after us demand and expect. Sometimes, we just don’t get it, even though we may want to. It gets frustrating. Many of us would rather lie on a beach, soaking up the sun and hearing the ocean breeze while sipping a cocktail, and many have!
We are all human! Each of us should recognize all genders with respect while holding healthy dialogues. Understand that in this country women should have the right to declare who they are, what they want, what they say, and especially have the God-given right to do whatever they want to their bodies. It seems there are a lot of powerful men that disagree!
There’s a big storm coming! And change is not far behind. We are seeing young people, of all genders, engaged in creative, social, environmental, international, city, and political causes that are not always publicized in the MSM. The Quite Storm!
